Christian Dating Advice

When it comes to dating fellow Christians, you need to be sure that you have the correct priorities. Many Christians say that personality traits are a key indicator to whether a partner might be suitable for him or her. You need to decide what are the key areas you look for in a partner.

Christian Dating Advice Tip #1: Do you have the same morals?

Think about the following questions:

Do you practice the same socially acceptable sex standards?
Do you have a similar level of manners satisfactory to your social groups?
Are you both honest, truthful and reliable?
Are you both loving, kind and committed?

Christian Dating Advice Tip #2: How important is your religion?

Think about the following questions:
Do you both pray regularly throughout the day?
Do you both attend services?
Are both your families receiving of Christianity?
Do you both respect and follow the Bible?

If you have areas where you disagree, these issues will need to be addressed before you enter a relationship. If your faith is important to you, then you need to know it is just as important to your partner.

Christian Dating Advice Tip #3: Don’t automatically reject non-Christians.

That is, of course, unless you feel certain that you would only ever date a Christian. It is perfectly possible for couples with differing views on politics, religion and environment to have rich and fulfilling relationships. The fact that a partner treats you well and is kind and considerate to your beliefs should be the most important factor.
