If you’ve managed to get your crush to agree to go out with you one night, or you‘re taking your partner out for a special occasion, then you’re sure going to want some romantic first date ideas. Now, this depends largely on what your crush thinks is romantic. Some people think a carefully made picnic in a specially chosen location would be very romantic, but unfortunately, some dates might think it is just a cheap option! Here are some ideas that are doubtlessly very romantic!

1: Buy A Special Gift

If you know our date has wanted something particular for a long time, then buy it and surprise your date by presenting it to them in a nice location. This could be a fancy restaurant, or in a special place you share.

2: Take The Lead

Don’t tell your partner where you’re going and plan a wonderful day or evening full of things they enjoy. This could be a trip to the beach, or a visit to your favourite romantic hideaway. Or it might be a day indoors with candles, movies and massage oil!

3: Leave Clues!

You’ll have to plan carefully for this one! Leave one clue leading to another, leading to another. The clues could end up leading to where you are that evening, where you’ll surprise your date! It’ll show that you’ve put time and effort into doing something for your partner, which they’ll think is utterly adorable!

4: Be Original.

Take them on a balloon ride. Book a river boat trip. Send flowers or chocolates to their workplace. Prepare their favourite meal.

5: Do Something Creative.

Pick the songs which mean the most to you both, and put them all onto CD. Draw or paint a picture. Write her a song. Use whatever your talent is – or even if you don’t have a talent, just have a go!
